Founded in 1971 in Dilovası, Kocaeli, on land leased from the Kocaeli Revenue Office under the General Directorate of National Real Estate, Poliport joined the YILPORT portfolio in 2026. Spanning 217,000 m², it is one of the largest ports on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, with its own jetty, pier, embarkment and warehousing facilities.
Located in the Kocaeli Gulf region, the terminal serves 13 industrial zones that are critical to Türkiye's exports, imports and raw material supply, with direct access to the TEM and E5 highways.
Poliport is the only independent chemical storage terminal in the region that does not engage in merchandising activities; it provides storage and handling services for third-party products. Its customs-controlled terminal area makes it eligible for import operations and all types of transit trade practices.
The terminal holds Bronze Certification in the globally recognised “Dow 4 Star” evaluation for Safety, Sustainability, Social Responsibility and Service, and a Bronze EcoVadis medal, placing it among the top 35% of companies assessed.
