YILPORT Huelva is further strengthening its regional connectivity through its collaboration with WEC Lines.

On 26 August, the m/v WEC VAN RUYSDAEL made its first call at YILPORT Huelva, where empty containers were unloaded to support regional export flows.

The collaboration continued on 10 September with the first official call of the WEC Corneille as part of the new service. Measuring 134 metres in length and 18 metres in width, the vessel connects YILPORT Huelva to a wider network of key ports across the region.

The service connects Valencia, Alicante, Cartagena, Almería, Nador, Málaga, Huelva, Setúbal, Sines and Cádiz, further integrating Huelva into WEC Lines’ regional network and creating additional connectivity between these strategic locations.

With three STS cranes, the capacity to handle vessels of up to 6,500 TEU and 256 reefer sockets, YILPORT Huelva continues to strengthen its position as a strategic logistics gateway, supporting efficient connections between regional ports and the wider supply chain.
